About Me:ShowI teach the fundamentals of technique and knowledge of the instrument with a strong focus on music theory, ear training, harmony, as well as improvisation and composition if desired. I strive to make learning fun and mix up the more mundane work, like scales and drills, with interesting material that keeps the student excited and interested. I will, for example, mix scales, drills, and technical exercises with progress through a method book. In addition I try to teach the students songs and musical pieces that they want to play from the first lesson. My goal is to teach the student enough about the instrument and the fundamentals of music so that they come to understand what makes music and be able to eventually teach themselves. Most of all it has to be FUN!!!!

About Me:ShowHello!...As a teacher with 15 years of experience, my main goal is to keep the student amused and interested. That could mean completely different things depending on the person, so I offer full adaptability and design an individual study plan. I want the students to learn the songs they pick from day 1, to understand how they have been created both harmonic and rhythmically. I teach ear training (Ear Master software), music theory, technique and how to translate all of these to expressing a certain mood or feeling. I will explain harmonics and develop all harmony concepts from there. I have worked as a live and studio professional guitarist as well as recording and producing more electronic styles. I use software sequencing to create beats and harmonies to play over and, for those interested, I teach the fundamental physics of sound waves and its application to recording, mixing and mastering. English-Spanish bilingual, weŽll have a laugh
