Gil A., Drums Teacher, Chicago
(773) 360-0204
About Me:
My approach to teaching is first and foremost based on the student having an enjoyable, positive musical experience. I tend to teach more conceptually as opposed to a rigorous program of specific exercises. I believe that technical study is important and necessary, but that it should be done in a manner which is fun and enjoyable for the student. I believe that the music lesson should be something the student looks forward to and is excited about.

Differing music styles implement the components of a drum kit in different manners. For example, in most forms of rock music, the bass drum and snare drum are the primary instruments used to create a drum beat.
