Andrew S., Guitar Teacher, Chicago
(773) 360-0204
About Me:
I design a curriculum around the aptitude and the personal goals of the student. I move with the students pace, but always push for more results. I am interested in developing a passion for the instrument within the student. My approach focuses on three main objectives: to work on structured exercises to improve technique and proficiency, learn songs chosen either by myself or the student, and to aid in the understanding of music theory and its relevance.

Electric guitars can have solid, semi-hollow, or hollow bodies, and produce little sound without amplification. Electromagnetic pickups convert the vibration of the steel strings into electrical signals which are fed to an amplifier through a cable or radio transmitter.
