Jessica K., Piano Teacher, Boston
(339) 368-6363
About Me:
A liberal arts education enabled me to build a foundation in a variety of disciplines. The versatility of this foundation has played a vital role in my musical life. Throughout my undergraduate years I also actively participated in track and field at the varsity level. My approach to teaching reflects the way I view myself as a musician. I expect a high quality of practicing and discipline, but I also expect students to enjoy other activities and bring these experiences into their musicianship.

Viennese-style pianos were built with wood frames, two strings per note, and had leather-covered hammers. Some of these Viennese pianos had the opposite coloring of modern-day pianos; the natural keys were black and the accidental keys white.
