About Me:ShowMusic is a language. In order to learn how to use this unique language, one must learn vocabulary and instrument usage, and how to develop the two. I believe each person learns differently and in order to help each student reach his or her musical goals, one must first identify what the goal is and then establish the best way for that individual to reach that goal. It takes time, patience, persistence, practice and desire. I always teach with balance between academics, improvisation and the physical aspects of learning music.

About Me:ShowThe voice is perhaps the deepest channel by which people express how they feel. I've loved, studied, and performed many different styles of music - from Opera to Pop to Classical to North Indian Ragas, and I have a keen understanding of the technical skills that apply to all styles of singing. My students have ranged from very beginners to advanced, and I work individually with every student to create the type and style of lesson which will help and inspire them to learn, exactly where they are.

About Me:ShowWith singing, we utilize this approach: technique that follows in this order: body stretching, breathing, diction, range and pitch building and repertoire, where we focus on perfecting songs and working on stage presence, eliminating stage fright and creating personality. For the piano and drums, we start with scales and theory, which helps to build performance.
