Everyone learns differently and it's important as a teacher to search for different ways to reach the individual. Whether the student is taking lessons as an extracurricular activity or is an actual budding musician, my goal as a teacher is to instill a constructive means of expressions and an appreciation of music in their life.

Experience:
- West Side YMCA Summer Arts Program Music Director - Leading the musical preparation and accompanying the performances of musicals as well as teaching electives focused on singing and developing a vocal repertoire. [2006]
- Piano Teacher - Maintaining a studio of private piano students ranging from six to sixty years of age. Guiding preparations for classical and jazz NYSSMA, and organizing annual student recitals. [2003-Present]
- Cornet Music Piano Instructor - Resident piano teacher in an active music lesson center on Long Island. [2005-2006]
- Currently working as a freelance pianist throughout Long Island and New York City, performing in a broad spectrum of musical settings including solo jazz piano for restaurants and parties, and funk, rock, and R&B bands.
- Performed with South African bassist Bakithi Kumalo of Paul Simon's band on a regular basis in various clubs and restaurants throughout Long Island. [2003-2005]
