About Me:
My personal approach and philosophy to teaching students involves positive feedback and sharing my knowledge from 44 years of experience of playing and studying the cello. It is important for the student to feel good about studying the cello or piano.
Working on fundamental skills is extremely important for all students. Choosing pleasing musical selections is also necessary for the healthy musical growth of the individual.
Hopefully, the student will also be able to apply the knowledge gained from my tutelage to other aspects of life.

Would you like to give the gift of violin lessons to someone living in the Long Island area? Gift Certificates are available in groups of 4, 6, 8, 12, and 16 lessons.
For instant delivery, we can email you the gift certificate in PDF format. Or if you'd like, we can send it by conventional mail, either to you or to the person who will be taking lessons.
A person who plays the violin is called a violinist or fiddler, and a person who makes or repairs them is called a luthier, or simply a violin maker.
