Matthew S., Bass Teacher, Westchester County
(914) 380-3116
About Me:
I believe that the proper approach to an instrument should begin with a strong understanding of music theory and ear training. When a student internalizes these basic principals, they not only become proficient on their instrument, but gain the ability to enjoy and understand music on another level. When I first started playing guitar, I taught myself and never learned proper technique, consequently developing tendentious. As I was forced to spend time relearning how to play, I believe teaching correct technique at the outset is integral.
