About Me:ShowMy advanced training in vocal performance has prepared me to teach students of all levels from beginning to advanced. I help you find your naturally beautiful voice by freeing tensions, exploring registers, and shaping vowels to achieve your best tone. I consider piano to be both an expressive instrument and an indispensable tool for all musicians. With that concept in mind, I teach piano from a musicianship standpoint - working on basic musical structures like intervals - so that knowledge of music fundamentals is developed along with piano skills. In both voice and piano students, I strive to combine musicianship along with technique. The level to which we explore concepts such as ear training, sight reading, and creative improvisation is up to the student, but this creative comprehensive curriculum is available!
