Cello Lessons in Rosedale, NY
(718) 608-6080
In a lot of ways, having one-on-one cello lessons with a private teacher beats taking them in a class. It's easy to get left behind in a class with other students. With private cello lessons your teacher can concentrate on you specifically by answering your questions about topics like bowing technique, minor scales and playing arpeggios.
Show Off What You've Learned!
At our annual spring recital (held in June) students get a chance to display their chops in front of their friends and family. This year the recital was held on June 13th.

About the Cello
The cello developed from the bass violin, first referred to by Jambe de Fer in 1556, which was originally a three-string instrument. The first instance of a composer specifying the bass violin may have been Gabrieli in Sacrae symphoniae, 1597.
Student Reviews
Lindsay is fabulous. Thanks to her, my daughter has a renewed interest in music and looks forward to the day of her lesson. I even find her practicing. Lindsay makes the voice and piano lessons interesting; she is a very patient and intuitive teacher. And to quote my daughter, "I enjoy my time with Lindsay"!
