No Contracts
Students may require drum lessons for a few years or for just a few months depending on their needs. At Encore Music Lessons there's no commitment, so students are able to stop lessons at any time.
Are you thinking about learning the drums? It might seem to you that there's a lot to master. However a wise drum teacher can help you to break everything down, so that you can grasp things little by little, at the pace that's best for you.
Where Lessons Are Given
When it comes to drum lessons, many students prefer to go to a nearby teacher's studio because of the noise. However, lessons are offered in the home as well for your convenience.
Encore Music Lessons is committed to helping you find an experienced drum teacher.
For beginner students, lesson topics make include things like understanding the 4/4 backbeat, reading rhythms, snare drum rudiments, and playing basic grooves using the bass and snare drums.
Intermediate students can learn about subjects like advanced rudiments, playing fills, using the hi-hat, and playing with other musicians.
For advanced students, teachers make go over topics such as playing in different genres, developing stamina, and studying the playing styles of famous drummers.
Whatever stage you are at in your development as a drummer, whatever techniques you want to learn, Encore Music Lessons can put you in touch with the right teacher!
You can reach us Mon. through Friday between the hours of 10am and 6pm EST. Give us a call!
Student Reviews
Our former teacher kept cancelling the lessons which caused my kids to become uninterested in piano. When I switched to Ms. Lorainne, they started to enjoy lessons again. She is an outstanding teacher. I really like that she helps with technique and doesn't just let them play the notes.
CARLA - PARK RIDGE, IL Teacher: Lorraine M.About the Drums
Drum kits first developed when drummers were encouraged to play as many percussion instruments as possible due to budget and space considerations in theaters.
