Flute Lessons in Alphabet City, NY
(212) 537-6746
Taking private flute lessons with a teacher one on one has advantages over taking them in a class setting. It's easy to get left behind in a class with other students. With private flute lessons your teacher can concentrate on you specifically by answering your questions about topics like producing a good tone, finger position and tone control.

Student Reviews
Hiromi helped me understand and play what I had only watched before with no expectation I could ever play myself. . Her teaching is patient, supportive, at the speed of the students ability to absorb information, helpful for learning how to practice and play, and relaxed. I was amazed at how fast I learned with her instruction. I recommend her highly for anyone from 3 to 93 who wants to play the piano.
Benjamin Teacher: Hiromi K.About the Flute
The standard concert flute is pitched in the key of C and has a range of 3 octaves starting from middle C (or one half-step lower with a B foot). This means that the concert flute is one of the highest common orchestral instruments, with the exception of the piccolo, which plays an octave higher.
