No Commitments
At Encore Music Lessons we understand very well that students need flexibility. We won't ask you to pay up front for a certain amount of lessons, or agree to a term contract.
It's no wonder then that more people take lessons on the guitar than any other instrument. Maybe you've been thinking about taking lessons too, but you're a little overwhelmed by how much there is to learn. That's why it's important to have a good teacher to break things down and help you understand at your own pace. At Encore Music Lessons we match students with experienced instructors.
Where Lessons Are Held
Depending on what's best for you, lessons can be given in your home or at a teacher's studio nearby.
Beginning students can learn basics like playing open chords, using strumming patterns, and playing simple songs. Intermediate students can focus on topics like improvisation using pentatonic scales, bar chords, and picking technique. Advanced students may want to examine the music of specific artists, or learn to play a particular style.
All Students are Welcome
Students of all ages and ability levels from total beginner to advanced are welcome to take lessons.
Whatever type of guitar teacher you're looking for, we can help. Students are matched with teachers based on their location, schedule, ability level, and any other criteria that the student feels is relevant. To get started, give us a call! Call 212-537-6746 or 800-417-4620.
Student Reviews
My son has been taking saxophone lessons with Jon for a number of years. Jon is a great musician and a wonderful teacher. He is very patient and supportive. I am sure that my son's experience with Jon has contributed to his decision to continue with the saxophone in High School. We are really grateful to have found him.
