Guitar Lessons in Hanover Park, IL

(312) 377-6663

Taking private guitar lessons with a teacher one on one has advantages over taking them in a class setting. Sometimes in a class you can get left behind. With one on one guitar lessons your teacher gets to know you on a more personal level and can help you directly with your practice of things like odd meter playing, transcription and triads.

You tell us the days and times that are best for you and we'll match you with a guitar teacher that's just right.

Give us a call today if you're ready to get started with guitar lessons.

Student Reviews

Adult students take note!

I'm an adult returning piano student, who had not played in more than 25 years. Nick started me on scales, and very easy Bach, and we have continued apace for the last 18 months, adding repertoire as my skills have returned or developed. Nick is patient (enough) but know when to focus me on working toward my mark. He is especially strong on teaching me the "time values" of a given piece, not my strength. (I hadn't known that the dreaded triplet shows up in both Debussy and Charlie Brown's Christmas!) I recommend Nick; he's an experienced and strong teacher.

Guitars may be played acoustically, where the tone is produced by vibration of the strings and modulated by the hollow body, or they may rely on an amplifier that can electronically manipulate tone.
