Piano Lessons in East Williston, NY

Taking private piano lessons with a teacher one on one has advantages over taking them in a class setting. When you take lessons in a class setting it's not unusual to find yourself falling behind. When you take private piano lessons your teacher knows you better and can assist you directly with learning things like scales, reading music and seventh chords.

Student Reviews
Growing up in a musical family have been exposed to many talented musicians. But even with talent, having the ability and patience to TEACH is a gift. Ben Metzger is not only talented and professional, but was able to capture the attention and admiration of my 10-year old son with ADHD. Ben demonstrated patience, kindness and catered to my son's wish to learn Led Zeppelin RIGHT AWAY! Private music lessons are expensive no matter where you search, but having Ben Metzger as a guitar instructor for my son is money well spent. Highly recommended!
Debbie - Massapequa, NY Teacher: Benjamin M.About the Piano
Interestingly, composer Johann Sebastian Bach did not like the first piano he was introduced to in 1730, claiming that the higher notes were too soft to allow a full dynamic range. The criticism was apparently heeded by piano builders. Bach did approve of a later instrument he saw in 1747, and even served as an agent in selling certain builder's pianos.
