While taking saxophone lessons in a class setting may sound like a good idea, there are definite perks that come from taking one on one lessons with a qualified teacher. In a classroom setting with other students you can easily be left behind. When you take private saxophone lessons your teacher knows you better and can assist you directly with learning things like how to play advanced scales and modes, note reading and chord substitutions.

About the Saxophone
The simplest design of saxophone is a straight conical tube, and the sopranino and soprano saxophones are usually of this straight design. However, as the lower-pitched instruments would be unacceptably lengthy if straight, the larger instruments usually incorporate a U-bend at or slightly above the third-lowest tone hole.

Charlie is a knowledgable guitar teacher. He is very good with my kids and they respect him. I have noticed that the kids are learning well from him and their ability to play the guitar has increased tremendously.
