About Me:
The main objective of the lessons, at all levels, is to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere which in turn will encourage the student to realize his/her full potential.
My teaching method is simple - through your instrument, you will learn how music is constructed and applied. Along with this, various techniques will be learnt that are able to be utilized in any style. You will build skills in improvising, rhythm, melody, dexterity and more, which in turn will give you the freedom to create and/or play anything. Basically, learn, understand and apply all the rules, then feel free to break them.
Songwriters are welcome to come and thrash out ideas - even record in my home studio for good quality demos.
Advice is also given on live and studio sound as well as performance.
Ages:
Elementary School, Pre-teen, Teenage, Adult

By CHRIS - UNION CITY, NJ, Guitar Lessons
I have been taking voice lessons with Chris for the past several months and have been more then satisfied thus far. He has made me very comfortable and tailors the lessons to help fit my needs and goals. Great musician and extremely pleasant to work with in general.
Solid Teacher - December 1, 2009
By OREN - NEW YORK, NY, Guitar Lessons
I've been taking lessons with him for about 3 months now, and I feel like I am really beginning to make the turn into an actual guitar player, and I'm really excited about it.
While most of us may want to just learn how to play (i.e. the songs you like, etc..), Chris really stresses learning the basics.
Don't get me wrong, these lessons (chords, scales etc...) are fun - you are really learning and he teaches you cool things along the way that break it up.
Chris encourages you to keep messing around on your own, and if you have trouble with something you're working on, he will teach you how to do it properly, and incorporate it into further lessons.
All in all, solid teacher. If you want someone easy that's not going to push you, Chris is not the guy, but if you want to LEARN how to play the guitar and are serious about it, I highly reccomend
