Giacomo M. , Bass Teacher , Brooklyn
My approach to teaching comes from years of working with students in very diverse teaching settings. I always customize my approach around the specific needs of the student, and his/her level of musicianship, skills, strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, though, I make sure that the student is given a valuable amount of information and material to work on. Also, and very importantly, I want to make the process of learning enjoyable and stimulating for the student, since music should always remain something we enjoy doing, although it's not supposed to be easy.
